Conversion events for non-eCommerce sites and Transactions events for eCommerce sites are the key metrics that power the Conversion Impact report (CIR).

Overview

What is the impact that UGC has on your site? What is the lift that UGC provides? These are the types of questions the Conversion Impact report (CIR) answers. But it is not possible without having Conversion or Transaction analytics events defined.

Transactions events must be included for implementations where sales are involved. While Conversion events are defined as events where a user takes the "desired path or action" that does not involve a monetary transaction, such as store locator, production registration, download, etc.
